Balade - Drops Design

Questo è il classico progetto che inizio, ma poi lo lascio là, mentre faccio anche altre cose. Ora, però, ho deciso di finirlo.

Più che uno scialle è una sciarpa con una forma strana, ma devo dire, molto facile da usare. Funziona anche come un accessorio al posto di una collana!

Il modello si chiama "Balade" ed è di DROPS Design.

Io ho usato 1 gomitolo di DROPS Alpaca 0302 

e 1 gomitolo di DROPS Delight 18. 

This is the typical project that I start up, but then, I leave it there, knitting other stuff… Now I decided to finish it!

More than a shawl, this is a scarf with a strange shape, but I have to say that it is really easy to wear. I works as an accessorize instead of a necklace!

The pattern is "Balade" by DROPS Design.

I used 1 ball of DROPS Alpaca 0302 

and 1 ball of DROPS Delight 18.

Borsa finita in tempo record!

L'ho fatta con i ferri del 15mm e ho usato la morbidissima DROPS Polaris.

Il fondo della borsa con il colore grigio scuro 03 e il resto della borsa grigio medio 04.

Cerco di spiegare qui i passaggi:

Borsa:

Avviare 25 maglie con i ferri 15mm, lavorare a maglia rasata ca 24 ferri. A questo punto hai fatto il fondo della borsa.

Riprendere 12 maglie ad ogni lato corto e 25 maglie sul lato lungo. Ci sono 74 maglie sul ferro circolare.

Lavorare in tondo, sempre a diritto per ca 50 cm, oppure fino alla misura desiderata. La mia borsa è alta ca 30 cm finita (infeltrita).

Intrecciare con la tecnica i-cord (i cord bind off). Puoi guardare questo video. In questo modo si forma un bel bordo.

Manico:

Avviare 3 maglie e fare un i-cord di ca 2,5m. Lasciare le codine del manica che ti può servire per dopo quando devi infilare il manico nella borsa.

A questo punto fissare tutte le codine della borsa.

Infeltrire:

Io metto la borsa e il manico in una federa e poi nella lavatrice insieme a un paio di vecchi jeans o un vecchio asciugamano. Il programma normale oppure il ciclo breve, centrifuga 900/1000 giri e 2 cucchiai di detersivo normale. NIENTE ammorbidente!

Bloccare:

Per dare la forma rettangolare alla borsa ho ricoperto 2 scatole per le scarpe con un sacchetto di plastica e le ho messe nella borsa con qualche oggetto in mezzo alle scatole per dare forma.

Ho lasciato la borsa ancora umida davanti a un calorifero e il giorno dopo era pronto per uso!

Manici:

per infilare il manico ho usato dei ferri molto grossi (10mm) e ho infilato il ferro da una parte all'altra e ho creato dei buchi per il manico.

        

Orange Crush - modificato

In poche settimane ho finto il maglione top-down!

Il modello si chiama Orange Crush ed è un modello DROPS.

 L'originale è realizzato in DROPS Nepal, ma ho voluto provare il filato DROPS Big Delight dai tanti colori!

Ho usato solo 4 gomitoli per la taglia piccola.

Come si vede dalla foto le maniche vengono fuori leggermente diverse dal corpo, ma è bello proprio per quello!

Sul sito di Garnstudio c'è anche un comodo video per vedere dei trucchi lavorando un modello top-down.

The pattern is called  Orange Crush and it is a DROPS Design.

The original top-down is knitted in DROPS Nepal but I wanted to use the colorful DROPS Big Delight. 

I used only 4 balls for the small size.

The final result is funny because of the different look on the sleeves and the body; thin stripes on the body and large stripes on the sleeves!

Collana Delight

E' una vita che non scrivo più niente… ho troppo da fare 

...per fortuna ;-)

Ho realizzato diverse cose nel frattempo e ho deciso di ricominciare a postare i miei lavori! Magari possono ispirare anche gli altri...

In occasione della festa DROPS Sockalicious e gli sconti sulla DROPS Delight  ho realizzato questa collana con 1 gomitolo di DROPS Delight e mezzo gomitolo di DROPS Kid-Silk. Fa molto scena!  Si può fare anche con la DROPS Fabel per esempio. Ne sto facendo un'altra e appena la finisco vi farò vedere!

Ho avviato 12 maglie e ho lavorato a diritto per metri e metri, finché non mi sembrava abbastanza ;-) Alla fine ho utilizzato ca 10 cm per fissare la collana con qualche punto.

I have knitted a lot of things since last time and yesterday I decided to start posting again! Maybe it can inspire you as well!

It's DROPS Sockalicious and 25% OFF on DROPS Delight  and I deceided to make this necklace with only 1 yarn ball of DROPS Delight and a half yarn ball of DROPS Kid-Silk. It's very nice! I'm working on another one in DROPS Fabel and it's very nice too. I'll let you see it when it's ready!

Super easy to make:

CO 12 stitches, Knit until you obtain the lenght you want ;-) I used approximately 10 cm to wind around the necklace at the end.

Il mio maglione a righe

Prima doveva essere per mia figlia. Ha scelto lei i colori. Verde pistacchio, giallo ocra, grigio chiaro, petrolio…. colori un po' strani ma, alla fine, belli insieme.

Il modello è il maglione Bright Side Up di Suvi Simola. Il maglione suo è un po' diverso, fatto con i guanti "incorporati" nella manica e il collo asimmetrico. Io l'ho fatto più semplice.

Sono molto soddisfatta con il risultato. 
Ho scelto di farlo in DROPS Cotton Merino. Un filato morbido e perfetto per questa stagione. 
Ho usato i ferri circolari n° 4,5mm

The jumper was supposed to be my daughter's. She chose the colors. Green, yellow, grey, petroleum… strange colors to mix, but, I like the result.

The design is Bright Side Up by Suvi Simola. The jumper in the pattern is a bit different. She made different sleeves and a asymmetric cowl. I changed it a bit and mine is a bit easier.

I made it with DROPS Cotton Merino  and needles 4,5mm. This yarn is super soft and it is perfect for this season!

more shawls - ancora scialli!

Io sono follemente innamorata del filato DROPS Safran. E' morbidissimo e ha dei colori molto belli!

 Avevo voglia di fare un altro scialle… si finisce sempre a farne uno… ma questa volta in cotone, quindi non c'era discussione; DROPS Safran!Poi lo volevo colorato!

Navigando in internet ho trovato uno scialle semplice ma molto bello su Ravelry. Si chiama Quaker Yarn Stretcher Boomerang ed è un modello di Susan Ashcroft. L'avevo già visto finito e la scelta è stata fatta.

Ho usato 2 capi di DROPS Safran insieme e ho lavorato con i ferri numero 6mm. Ho lavorato 8 ferri con 2 fili di un colore, poi ho sempre continuato con 2 fili insieme, ma uno del colore che stavo già lavorando e uno del nuovo colore. Ho lavorato 8 ferri anche con i 2 colori diversi. Poi ho continuato con 2 fili dello stesso colore ancora (1 dei fili è quello che ho appena lavorato insieme ad un altro colore).

Sono soddisfatta con il risultato. Sarà bello da mettere sulle spalle la sera in Sicilia quest'estate :-)

I'm totally in love with DROPS Safran. It's a super soft yarn with very nice colors.

I wanted to knit a shawl… I always end up with one… but this time in cotton, so, the choice was easy; DROPS Safran. And I wanted it with many colors. 

Surfing in internet, I found an easy but very nice shawl on Ravelry. It's called Quaker Yarn Stretcher Boomerang and the designer is Susan Ashcroft. I went for it.

I used 2 threads of DROPS Safran worked together and needle number 6mm. I knitted 8 rows with 2 threads of the same colour, then I continued with one of these colors and add a new colour. These 8 rows are double colored. Then I went on like this adding new colors every 8 rows.

I'm happy with the result and I think it will be really nice to wrap it on my shoulders during the evenings in Sicily this summer :-)
